EFT (tapping)

 What is E.F.T?

EFT… (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a relatively new treatment that has provided hundreds of thousands of people across the world with relief from pain, disease and emotional difficulties. It has been used very successfully in the UK for the last 10 years and has a rapidly growing following particularly in the field of psychotherapy and complimentary medicine.

When undertaking my own training several years ago, there were a number of GPs on the course and with information about the astounding success of this simple technique its popularity is spreading rapidly throughout the Western world.

Alfred Einstein told us in the 1920s that everything, including ourselves, is made up of energy

EFT has it's roots in Thought Field Therapy, a respected and recognised psychotherapuetic technique developed by Dr Roger Callahan.

EFT often works when nothing else will... It has been used for weight loss, to stop smoking, remove phobias, trauma relief, overcome pain, and much, much more. It is often referred to as a cousin to acupuncture, a well respected discipline over 5000 years old (but without the needles!).

Points on the hands and face are stimulated by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and requires no special equipment so you can practice it anywhere.

"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." (Gary Craig founder of EFT)

It is now universally accepted that the thoughts and feelings we have make a major contribution to our physical well-being or distress.

Stress is now held to be symptomatic of many chronic conditions such as arthritis, heart disease and IBS to name but a few. Clearly this gives further weight to the statement:

"Our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases."

In other words ‘we are what we think’

EFT was originally formulated to reduce the psychotherapy process from months and years down to minutes and hours.

From there it was discovered that astonishing physical healings also occurred. From my own personal point of view I can tell you it certainly does what it says on the tin!

A single session of EFT will last up to 90 minutes and may be all you need to resolve the issue you are struggling with. The fee for this is just £60
